I am almost at the end of my quest to find information about those who have played AC for Western Australia and it seems these final few will take the longest, especially if I wait to find a photo.
Edna is a terrific example of someone who provided what seems a life time of service to the croquet community.
She was the 37th player to represent Western Australia and in that same year, she represented WA in the team that played against Great Britain in Perth.
Apart from what is summarised above, Edna served on the Handicap Committee, the Laws and Discussions Committee and the Sub-Committee for amendment of the Consitution, By-laws and Regulations.
If that wasn’t enough, she was a referee of long standing. An Australian Referee begining in 1979, Secratary of the WA Panel of Referees and President of the WA Croquet Referees Association 1979-82 and 1987-90.
Edna also dabbled with being a TM. She was Assistant Manager of the Golden West 150th Annivarsary Carnival in Perth in 1979, Manager of the ACA Carnival in Perth in 1983, and Assistant Manager in 1989.
It is of no surpised that Edna was elected a Life Member of the Association in July 1988.

If anyone has a photo of Edna, I would appreciate a copy.
