Geographe Challenge

Last Saturday we had the Geographe Challenge. A doubles competition against Busselton that we hold twice per year. Busselton has won by far most of these tournaments, but lately Dunsborough has won a couple. This time we beat Busselton 13 games to 3!!

This is a sensational effort and the 4 team from Dunsborough put in a stellar effort to win convincingly against a strong team from Busselton. Many thanks to Graeme and Janice Davies; Wendy Collins and Anthony Nelson; Brian Uren and John Bastian; Derek Foster and Alan Hardingham. Guys you all did brilliantly!! The games were played in good spirit (as always) and a lot of fun was had despite the serious competitiveness. I want to say a special thank you to Brian Uren and John Bastian. Between the play I saw some brilliant “in offs” and jumps from John (utilizing his AC skills) and some great long clearances from Brian when under pressure.
