Como – Lawn Update

The levelling of the “undulating” boundary on Lawn 2 at Como Croquet Club was completed today. Approximately four cubic metres of sandy loam was spread in this final lift. Previously this year two ‘lifts’ have been undertaken to raise the corner areas by about 120mm and the rest of the boundary area by about 50mm. These two stages required approximately seven cubic metres of soil.

Players are looking forward to Lawn 2 being back in action in about six weeks with a level boundary for the first time in a decade or more.
