Congratulations to the Australian AC team, captained by WA’s Ian Dumergue, on winning the the most prestigious teams event in Association Croquet, the MacRobertson Shield. Australia beat the US in the final test last night (with one day still to play). This gave Australia a clean sweep, beating New Zealand in the second test and winning against England in the first test. This is the first time Australia has won the event since 1935. What a fantastic result for Australian Croquet and an amazing achievement by Ian personally.
