Vale Neville Giles (York Croquet Club)

York Croquet Club is sad to advise that one of their members, Neville Giles, passed away on Saturday 23rd December.
Neville was the member who gave the $10.00 prizes for the 2 hoops in 1 shot at York tournaments. Neville was a skilled player, but had a serious heart condition which stopped him from playing in tournaments. Although Neville’s health deteriorated recently he was still playing croquet only a few weeks ago.
