Northam Trophy – Sept 14/15th
Competitors were treated with beautiful conditions for both days and a great time was had by all. Thanks go to the York Club for hosting the event, to all the amazing volunteers who gave up their time in the kitchen and in preparing the clubhouse and courts, and to those who made the journey to play. A special shout out to to Eric who managed and refereed the event with aplomb.
A highlight for me was the club dinner on Tuesday. From the Lebanese flavourings of head chef Eric, to the wide assortment of salads on offer (Barbara’s “wobbly beetroot” dish is a new favourite), and the amazing table decorations.
