Greatest Moments in Croquet:

Being the Australian flag bearer at the 2015 World Championships in NZ was very special.

Playing in the 2016 World Teams Tier 2 event as Australian Captain for the first time was a dream debut as Captain. There was huge expectation on the team to win the event and bring Australia back into the Tier 1 group. The team was amazing and their support helped me get through the tournament undefeated. I still remember the moment we won a critical game against Spain on the final day which put us into an unbeatable position.

Winning the Interstate shield for WA in 2017 would still be my greatest and fondest moment, it was truly a team win with everyone contributing and a sensational celebration!

Check out this great radio interview as Chris explains golf croquet.

And just a little more from Chris:

Croquet has been a big part of my life for 20+ years but outside of that;

  • I have a restored 1977 Leyland Mini that I received as a 40th birthday present
  • I played Rugby League in school and still play touch rugby with some school friends 26 years later.
  • I’ve been married for 10 years to Dee and have a 3 year old Staffy/Kelpie (Dingo!) called Piper.
  • Food (wine!), Travel, Friends and Family are the most important things in life.
