Floreat Park Croquet Club

Floreat Park / City Beach croquet club was one of the more recent clubs to be established, opening in 1955.

Driven largely by the work of Marjorie Parry, a future association president, state team player and captain.

The club colours were Saxe Blue and Grey, later the description was changed to Baltic Blue and Grey.

Three courts and a small practice area were tucked into the area between the Chandler St embankment and the Bowling club, this all being across the road from where Floreat Forum now exists.

Pennant success was only achieved in the lower grades, never having a win in the top group.

To her credit one of the pennant ladies was still competing at the age of 91.
