W.A.C.A. COACHING COMMITTEE REPORT - 9^TH FEBRUARY, 2005

The Coaching Committee has not held any meetings this year, but have been conducting their business by email.

This past month saw the final instruction needed to complete the Beginner Coaches course for the following players. [and now beginner coaches].

We congratulate Kay Chynoweth and Betty Crutchett from Forrest Park Croquet Club, together with Jannine Hawker from Moorabinda Croquet Club, Ede Frost, Peter Clift, Mary Clift, and Alastair Brand from Geraldton Croquet Club, and Val Alexander and Patrick Beatty from Halls Head Country Croquet Club.

It is our wish that with the continued training of beginner coaches that the standard of play in Clubs will improve, thereby providing more enjoyment and challenge for all players.

Training is continuing with three members of the Gosnells Croquet Club undertaking the course on Thursday the 10^th of this month, together with another member of Halls Head Country Croquet Club, and courses for some players at Narrogin, Forrest Park and Albany are also scheduled to take place in April/May, 2005.

It is expected that the Coaching Committee will meet shortly to schedule workshops for coaches and players for the coming year.
