Thanks to all the players, managers, referees and catering volunteers who combined to make Country Weekend a great tournament. A special thanks to Bayswater Club who, at the last minute, hosted one block when it was realized that more lawns would be required than could be provided by hosts Como and Bassendean. 64 players competed this year – a pleasing increase from last year’s 48 entries. Following the barbeque at Como, players provided open and constructive feedback on the tournament to a couple of members of the Match Committee. Such feedback is appreciated and our Committee will use the information to improve Country Weekend 2004.

Please return all WACA trophies by 14^th July to our house at 51 Ednah Street, Como or to Como Croquet Club or headquarters at Forrest Park, in preparation for Trophy Day in August. Please phone me on 9368 2926 if this will present a problem for you.
