Singles in 4 Round Robin Preliminary Semi-Seeded Blocks A, B, C & D. The
first 5 rounds of each block will be played on Saturday A/B playing 2 rounds first,
then single alternate rounds C/D followed by A/B with C/D playing 2 consecutive
rounds to complete the day (80 Games) scheduled finish A/B players 3.00pm and
C/D players 4.30pm

Golf Croquet 2005.
Start Points: All games Corner 4. (Yellow Flag) If double banking in operation players caught
by the following match should offer to stop their clock, mark and give way to
the quicker players.
Game Format: 13 Point. The first to score 7 points is the winner and
the game stops immediately a player scores 7 points regardless of time. The 13th
Hoop if tied at 6 all is a replay of hoop 3.
Time Limit:
40 Minutes by player (red ball) operated clock.
The
game stops immediately the next hoop is scored after the time has expired and the
winner is the highest point scorer at that time. In the event of a tie after
the next hoop one further hoop is played.
Loser
signs the game sheet, attends to clock resetting, ball replacement etc.
Winner
returns the completed score slip to the Tournament Management Table asap.
Block Position: Will be determined firstly
by games won, then by net points, then in the event of a tie by the result of
the game or games between the tied players and finally if still unresolved by a
one shot nearest the pin competition controlled by the Tournament Manager.
Handicaps: Extra turns are awarded to the higher handicapped player in a
match based upon any handicap difference. Extra turns may be taken at any time after
a player’s normal shot or if extra turns are still available immediately after
a previous extra turn. A player may not score a point for themselves with an
extra turn.
Prizes: Perpetual
Trophy (WACA Trophy Day) and prize - winner X Final. Prizes

X and Semi finalists X . Winners Y, Z and Good Egg (G)
Tournament Changes: The Tournament Manager may change the format of the
tournament, lawn allocations and draw as deemed necessary to expedite play and
accommodate late withdrawals, severe weather conditions etc. After the first
games of the day lawns will be randomly allocated.
Referees: In
the absence of referees the striker is the referee. Law disputes should be
referred to the Tournament Manager and the clock stopped. If an Association
referee is available the clock may be stopped and that referee may be called to
watch potential crush shots etc.
Lunches: Available
from a deli adjacent to the Como Club. Morning and afternoon Tea and Coffee
free to players.
