Club History –

The Halls Head Country Croquet Club was formed in 1983 with coaching of members on the western foreshore in Mandurah.

In 1984 club play moved to Hungerford Avenue, Halls Head, with the first doubles event held in September, followed by the official opening of the club on October 14th, 1984.

February 1986 new greens on donated land at the club’s present site were ready for play, with the official opening of the greens being held fifteen months later.

The South West Games were hosted the Halls Head Club in1988 with croquet players from southern areas participating.  In spite of very limited facilities a very successful competition was held.

After extensive fundraising over the next few years the club house was opened on October 14th, 1994 and named “The Nesta Pavilion” in honour of our founder and past president, then secretary, the late Mrs Nesta Tuckey.

Currently the club has a very busy calendar with members actively participating in tournaments, pennants, etc, as well as club play.  We welcome inter club games and visits from individual players.   We would be most happy to see you at Halls Head!
