A Life Member of the Como Club, Verna will be remembered for her major contribution to coaching and for the goodwill she continued to create during the period of her own fading heath. On behalf of all our players the Management Committee extends sympathy to all Verna's family and particularly to daughter Merryl who with Verna's encouragement has achieved so much at a high level in croquet. Nov 20 Expressions of Interest are called for the position of Manager of AC State Team for the 2009 Eire Cup Competition to be held in Sydney Mar 09.
