ARE YOU GOING TO PLAY IN A TOURNAMENT IN THE EASTERN STATES?
If you are going to play in a tournament in the eastern states, you will need to obtain an official AHS Card with your details of ACA ID number, current handicap and index before you go.
Association croquet players –
contact Helen Collins (hgcollins@upnaway.com).
Golf croquet players –
contact the State Handicapper (GC) Brian Hadley (bhadley3@yahoo.com).
Please make this contact at least 2 weeks before your departure.
If you do not succeed in contacting the relevant State Handicapper -
contact Coordinator Handicapping sub-committee Helen Collins (hgcollins@upnaway.com)
In the eastern states they do not have a centralised handicap recording system as we do in WA and they use the individual AHS Cards for all competitive singles games.
You will find the necessary instructions on the card. It will need to be handed to the Tournament Manager before the tournament starts to verify your handicap and index. There will only be entries made on the card if you play competitive singles games. The card is not used for social and friendly games.
.
On your return to WA you need to send the card in to WACA so that your results can be processed in the WA system and relevant handicap/index changes made.
Postal address: WACA, PO Box 681, Mt Lawley WA 6929
For further information on the Association or Golf Handicapping Regulations and the relevant cards, go to the Croquet Australia website.
