Reminder WACA AGM Forrest Park HQ - 9.30 am 3rd September 2005

 

  1. Motions

 

Council Members, Member Clubs and Standing Committees are reminded that Notice of Motions (including reasons) for the 2005 AGM need to be submitted to me by Friday the 22nd July 2005.

 

At this point in time only one from the Geraldton Club, regarding the provision of insurance certificates, has been recorded.

 

  1. Nominations

 

Nominations of Registered Players only, for positions upon the Management Committee and Standing Committees need to be lodged by Member Clubs with me by Friday the 29th July 2005.

 

Positions to be elected in 2005 are:-

Management - Vice President, Secretary and Two Ordinary Members for two year terms.

Coaching – Seven Members who must be accredited Coaches for a one year term.

Handicapping – Three Members for a one year term.

Match – Five Members for a one year term.

Publicity and Promotions – Three Members for a one year term.

Refereeing – Five Members from qualified Referees for a one year term.

*** Selection – Five Members for a one year term.

 

*** It is possible that by the election at the AGM a By Law authorizing the appointment of Selectors by the Management Committee rather than by Member Clubs will have been made and confirmed by Council making it unnecessary to elect  Selectors. Nominations are called for under the current Constitution and ByLaws to cover the situation where the proposed ByLaw does not receive the necessary Council support.
