At the recent Australian GC Carnival, WA was well represented in both the Australian Men’s and Women’s Singles..
Those of us lucky enough to be there, witnessed an amazing performance by Torben, as he positioned, cleared and hooped his way to claim the Australian Men’s Singles crown. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do and it was simply the best I have ever seen him play. As the commentators stated, “It was a fantastic display.”
Only a small part of the match was streamed. You can catch the tail end of the match starting at 5:12:45 into the Day 4 stream.
At the presentation, our winner from last year had the pleasure of presenting the trophy. Hopefully WA can do a Brisbane and do a 3peat in 2027.
