Our first ever State Team travels to Tasmania to compete in the 1952 National Championships.
The honour of being in the inaugural State Team went to Agnes Donaldson (1952-53,1955 56), Edith Thorogood, Ida Thorpe (1952, 1955-59), M Gilmour and R Farrell (1952-53, 1956).
The Carnival consisted of the EIRE CUP, and the Australian Singles and Doubles Championships.
Agnes was runner up in the Singles to Edith Bartle (NSW)
