Friday’s Visits

Managed to pop into two venues today on the way to Tumut.

Historical Beechworth has two lovely courts situated not far from the city centre. Definitely a town worth spending a few day ins. The historic buildings from the gold era are beautifully maintained and Lake Sambell, formed from an open cut sluice operation is well worth a visit.

We then deviated into Albury where the ACA Handicap singles was in action. Twin City Croquet Club were the hosts and they share the courts with the local tennis club.

Winner: Peter Webb

Runner Up: Peter Kahara
