Welcome to a new regular update on what’s happening around the Croquet community.
There was plenty happening around the courts over the weekend.
A large contingent of players headed up to Geraldton to compete against the locals over four days in various events. Handicap Singles, Handicap Doubles, and Level Play Singles. You can find the results for all events on croquetscores.com.
Gosnells held their annual GC Doubles Championships. In a close finish, Martin Clarke and Janeen Kenny topped the table from the pairing of Sue Anderson and Joyce Carbone.
Forrest Park conducted their GC Club Championships over two days with a 19 point double round robin. The result was very tight with only net hoops separating Chris McWhirter and Brett McHardy.
In the South-West, Moorabinda had the pleasure of hosting a group of very talented players from Balingup with a round of singles games followed by general club play. A great time was had by all.
