Recent Changes to the Website

Just a quick post to let you know of some of changes I have made over the past month.

At the end of the post, I have added a link to a request form. Feel free to identify anything in particular you would like to see or learn more about relating to croquet.

RESOURCES

I have separated the Resources Page into 4 sections. I have included links to videos, websites and any articles that I have come across and found interesting. I may include a 5th section later regarding scenarios.

  1. Golf Croquet
  2. Association Croquet
  3. Tips to improve your game
  4. Game watch

RESULTS

As each competition is completed, I have been adding it to the list with the most recent on top. I do my best to gather this information via Croquetscores and Club Facebook pages. I appreciate the work Kay does as she always sends me an email with Geraldton’s result.

After each major tournament, I have been updating the Historical Files for each event. Marty has an amazing collection of historical results and unbeknown to us all, keeps them continually updated. I was surprised to learn that he even tracks triple peels.

CLUBS

Cambridge and Halls Head are just two of the clubs to have recently updated their details.

HOME

Around the Courts is my weekly post and I try an include as much as possible of what is happening around the traps. Once again, I obtain most of this information from Croquetscores and the individual club facebook pages. I apologise if I miss anything. If you would like anything added, just email me with the details.

Golf Croquet Problem CornerI have a few more of these to post but if you come across an interesting situation in a game, let me know the scenario and we can all have a go at working out a strategy.

Tips on Improving your game – This is my latest venture. There are some really useful bits of information out there that can help all of us make even the smallest of improvements to our game . I have also reached out to various members of our croquet family in the hope that they will pass on some of their wisdom gained over their years of playing.

Have a relaxing and enjoyable Easter break
