There was plenty of action on the courts throughout Australia on the weekend.
ACA WA AC Bronze Medal
Marty Clarke(Gosnells CC) emerged as the ACA WA AC Bronze Medalist following the weekend competition. Marty’s win may be the first Bronze for a Gosnell’s member….if not the first, then it would be at least 40 years since the last win. Jeff Newcombe (Como CC) was the runner up.
All agreed that it was a good tournament, and it was played in good spirit, with good lawns, tight hoops and fine weather.

This was Marty’s fourth success in this event. His first win came in 1998 with subsequent wins in 2001 and 2010. In 2001 he went on to win the Gold Medal.
