After the experience of the Over 50’s event, I now find myself interested in following the progress of the players I met.
John Christie won both the singles and doubles event in the North Island AC competition. His doubles partner was Nelson Morrow, who also played in the Over 50’s and spent a lot of time commentating with Marty.
Jill Sullivan, who played in the Western Qualifier, recently won the Cooks River Open
Helen Covington won the Championship Flight Consolation at the Ponte Vedra Seahorse event.
and yours truly was spotted enjoying himself at Miss Saigon and Jim’s Greek Tavern.
