It’s too late to “practice”. So, use the five minutes to get yourself in harmony with the court, i.e., assess the speed of the court.
To do this I will often just hit a single ball around the first six hoops and try and land in the dolly running position. When I fail to get right in front of the hoop, I just make the little hits to make it perfect. Gently run the hoop with control. (No big or angled hoops – save all that for private practice). Then hit off for the next hoop’s dolly running position.
Make your five-minute routine easy and fail-free. Just get the “feel” of the court and be happy that you’re about to play a wonderful game of croquet.
