We were treated to a real contrast in weather over the weekend. At Moorabinda on Saturday, rain was aplenty yet on Sunday, the sun shone brightly -almost as brightly as the smiles of BJ & the Polar Bear, winners of the GC Statewide Teams event.
GC STATEWIDE TEAMS
13 teams converged on Bunbury from around the state to compete in this unique teams event. Each match consisted of a singles games and a doubles games. For each new match, Teams could vary who played in what game.
Only one team was able to win every match and every game they played which was an outstanding effort.
- Winners: BJ & the Polar Bear – Brett, Janine and Torben
- Runners Up: The Hard Hitters – Bob, Les and Gary
- Third: The Octaves – Max, Helen and Frank
